How To Connect Samsung Printer To WiFi?

Here are some prerequisites to Connect Samsung Printer To WiFi network :

● Make sure your printer can connect wireless. Check the user manual for your printer model if you're unsure.

● Ensure that your computer and printer are connected to the same wireless network.

● On your PC, use the Samsung Printer Diagnostics program. See Samsung Printer Diagnostics Installation and Functions for instructions if the program is not already installed.

● If necessary, have a USB cord on hand to help with setup.

Configure the wireless settings

There are two options for adjusting the wifi settings in Samsung Printer Diagnostics. One uses a USB cable connection, while the other employs a direct wireless connection between your computer and printer. The direct wireless connection method is implemented first. If the direct wireless connection technique fails or the printer does not support the WPS function, the USB cable option will work.

NOTE: Your computer may lose Internet access while setting up the printer's wireless settings.

● If it isn't already open, launch Samsung Printer Diagnostics on your computer.

● Select Wireless Printing Setup.

● As instructed, turn on the printer.

● Choose a printer.

● Samsung Printer Diagnostics determines if the printer is compatible with the wireless feature. If the printer has a wireless function and more than one wireless printer is found, the Choose a wireless printer screen appears.

● The printer control panel's Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button should be pressed.

● The software moves on to the following phase when you accomplish this. (A Retry button appears if the WPS button is not pressed for two minutes.)

● To finish the setting, adhere to any additional on-screen prompts. Otherwise, see if a USB cable connection prompt is given.

You are asked to plug in a USB cable if the printer doesn't support wireless or if the direct wireless connection technique doesn't work. Automatic initiation of the USB cable technique is provided. If you are instructed to use a USB cable to connect the printer to the computer, follow these instructions.

● Utilize a USB cable to link the printer to the PC.

● Choose a wireless network.

The wireless networks that the connected printer has retrieved are listed on this screen. Only wireless networks operating in infrastructure mode are found. Select your wireless network after clicking the Refresh button to view the available wireless networks.

● If prompted, enter your wireless network security credentials.

● If the chosen wireless network is a secured network, it will be indicated on the wireless network security screen.

1. The installer activates the Next button when you input a network password that is 5, 10, 13, or 26 characters long if the wireless network's security is WEP.

2. When you enter a password that is more than 8 characters long but less than 63 characters in length, the installer activates the Next button if the security is WPA.

● As the connection closes, wait.

The Wireless Network Setting Complete screen, which includes the printer settings information, appears if the wireless setup is successful.
